Hi! I am an artist and surface designer, born and raised in the beauty of the Hudson Valley region of New York. Having grown up in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, I have always had a love for the great outdoors. When I was young I enjoyed identifying insects, being outside, and of course, making art. As I get older I find myself more and more immersed in the culture and beauty of my surroundings. I am so grateful to live in a place that allows me the freedom to enjoy small town charm, nature, and still have easy access to the greatest city in the world, New York!
I have always had an inherent love of art and design. I admire worn and weathered, funky and vibrant, and everything in between. My inspiration comes from my surroundings. Whether it be perusing the local vintage shop, or spending the day wandering the colorful streets of Woodstock. I gravitate toward nature and all of its perfect imperfections. I seek inspiration in a small leaf that has been patterned by the hungry bug, to a perfectly broken seashell washed up on the shore.

My work is modern, fresh, and whimsical. I love playful and experimental techniques.I often work in a variety of ways, implementing anything from digital design to various traditional mediums. I often use watercolor, inks, dyes, mica powders and bleach in my work. I also work with my environment as much as possible by utilizing fresh flowers in eco prints or cyanotype, or simply taking a potato off of my counter to cut up and make a new pattern from.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or just to say hello. I can't wait to hear from you!

A little more about me:
Since I was young, I was always painting, creating, and exploring my creativity. When I am not designing, I enjoy traveling (especially to Norway!), being in nature, or sailing on the Hudson River with my husband and dogs, on our sailboat.
